MWCOG Selects HRS to Provide Public Health Technical Assistance

Washington - Health Resource Solutions, Inc. (HRS) was recently chosen by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG) to provide public health technical assistance to the organization it was announced.

MWCOG studies the state of public health within the Washington DC metropolitan region, and assists each local governments’ health department in planning and coordination for each public and mental health agency as well as other regional health providers.

The organizations’ primary focus is on regional disease prevention, health promotion and providing risk reduction strategies in such areas as immunization, HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.
